At my church, we’re working through a series called “Image Is Everything: Pictures of the Church.” For five weeks, we’re taking a look at these pictures — the Temple, a Household, the Body, Priests, and the Bride — and how they describe the Church’s mission and character.
I’ll be preaching the final week on the image of the bride. We see in Scripture that Israel is referred to as the “betrothed” of God, and the New Testament extends that image to include the Church as the bride of Christ. Join me for a few weeks, as I look at what it means for the Church to be ready and adorned.
